Dr. Banu Oner, MD

While I appreciate Dr.Oner being throughout in her work, I am left with some trauma after my experience with her. My stereotactic biopsy procedure was excruiating after she told me it would not hurt. I expressed this duing the procedure and could not hold back tears. She only offered to stop but did not offer any alternative to the horribly scary and painful way the biopsy was conducted. Standard process does not work for every body every time! I explained sensory sensitivities, not only was she uncaring but she seemed rushed, unwilling to take time to reassess what more could be done and was especially loud making it even more intolerable for my already overwhelmed sensory system when I had asked for quiet. I took my care elsewhere to avoid ever dealing with her again. Again, in terms of her actual work, I do not take any issue but she must remember these are human beings with bodies that feel she is working on, not unfeeling inanimalte objects.
