Dr. Cioccia made me cry during my visit with him today. He accused me of "grabbing a hygenist" and insinuated that I had atacked her. It was so out in left field I felt like I was taking crazy pills. Truth is, the hygenist didn't numb me properly and when she unexpectidly hit a nerve during a deep clean I reflexivley pushed her hand away. When it happened I profusely and sincerely applolgized and told her that she was hitting a nerve, she didn't seem upset or concerned for her safety and continued the cleaning. In fact after we settled back in, I just beared down and dealt with the nerve pain during the cleaning because the hygenist told me it was normal, I ended up having nerve pain for a month following that cleaning, every time I pressed the middle of my lip a shockwave would travel accross my face. Dr Cioccia accused me of attacking that hygenist during this visit that was set up to address the fact that I was recieving different diagnosis form different denstist within his practic
