Went to see him for treatment of vertigo and sleep apnea. He attended to both issues and I was very happy with both him and the office staff. I even referred him to 3 other people. He asked me to schedule a follow up in 3-4 weeks which I did. On that visit he sprayed some stuff in my nose, retested for vertigo, then said “put your head back” & proceeded to put a device up my nose. Never explained, why or what he was doing & was never discussed prior or given any options. I have a high deductible & was already putting off more important procedures for the deductible reset. Now I see that my insurance was billed almost $1000 for this and only covering $198! The rest is being billed to me! So I had to cancel my level 2 mamo/sono this weekend which was much more urgent than whatever this was. I am very diligent at budgeting my own healthcare funds, checking for out of pocket pricing /coverage and prioritizing my own care. I was never given the opportunity. This is so wrong.
