I don’t recommend this Dr. Carcamo we sent my daughters referral and 6 weeks later still hadn’t heard back. Every time I would call to try and get an appointment they would say he has to review her chart. Then they would say he’s out of town he will look at it next week. He was out 2x. He didn’t review it until just last week. I called again this week the staff never called us to notify us they decided to put her on a wait list! Completely unacceptable to not communicate for that long.We had our referral sent to UNM children’s hospital and they called us less than 24 hours later and got her in to be seen. They were fast , efficient and friendly. By the end of the week we had all her results.Don’t waste your time waiting on this clinic or Dr. Carcamo, take your child somewhere else that will actually give you the time of day.I understand prioritizing patients but I don’t understand not even looking at a chart for over 6 weeks or communicating with the parents.
