This was by far the most difficult experience I’ve had with a medical professional. I found this doctor to lack empathy and proper bedside manner, which made an already stressful time even more overwhelming. He was quick to recommend termination at the slightest concern, even when symptoms had improved — without considering the full context or emotional impact. His approach felt cold, impersonal, and dismissive.After sharing my experience, I found out that a coworker also delivered with him and had nothing but disappointing things to say. Her child was born perfectly healthy, yet she was also pressured toward termination during her pregnancy. That speaks volumes.As a mother, I strongly urge anyone seeking care to get a second opinion and consult with their own OB before continuing with this provider. Transparency from a doctor is important, but it should never come at the cost of compassion or basic respect.
