I was a patient for 6 months. I left every appointment with Dr. Valashinas in tears. She wouldn't write a note for documentation of my disability, wouldn't refer me to pain management because she 'didn't know people in the area'. Waiting room always took over 30 minutes to even get seen, and then you'd only get to talk to her for 5 minutes. To make matters worse, I was misdiagnosed with RA when I actually have SLE lupus, and dismissed when I voiced any concerns. She wouldn't prescribe any medications for pain (and I don't even mean controlled meds, I mean anything, even just a muscle relaxer) except for steroids. And suggested turmeric and an expensive nightly vitamin for pain and sleep.Had such a horrible experience that I switched to a new practice as soon as I could.
