This is a deceptive and shady practice and they refuse to make things right!!! DO NOT GO HERE. You'll receive an insanely costly bill. I scheduled a routine eye exam covered by my vision insurance. When I called to book they asked what 'insurance I have' which I replied United Health Care ( who our vision is through). They never once told us they do not carry vision insurance. They also charged me an additional $40 upon check out to be able to take my prescription with me. SO SHADY! 3 weeks later, my husband received a bill $391.20, and I received a bill of $340. 83 for our 'routine' check up. It should be 100% covered by our vision insurance, which they failed to mention they only carry 'medical'. They claim it's not their place to inform us of that and that it's in their HEFTY mind you, ' paper work'. They're refusing to make it right and we have now have a bill of a whooping $772.03. My! their doctors think highly of their less than 10 mins they spent with each of us. DISGUSTED.
