I saw Dr Schroer for a few months in 2018. He prescribed me with medications that had really severe side effects at a dosage my later doctors have said was completely inappropriate. Want to know why I reacted so poorly? Because I didn’t have the illness he was trying to treat to begin with! I told him that. I told him they were hurting me and this was a misdiagnosis. He insisted the severe akethesia I experienced was impossible and told the staff I was lying about my symptoms. Akethesia almost took my life. It’s been years and I’m still haunted by the memory and sometimes my body remembers it in horror. This man will sign off on anything for the insurance money, especially if Red Oak Recovery asks him to. I came out far sicker than I went in, and had to spend months cross weaning off of medications to be even close to whole again. This experience will never leave me. Do not trust this man.
