My son needed Achilles surgery and we had it done here. The surgery went great, no issues there but we needed a follow up for a small issue. We scheduled an appointment but found that our insurance was not active. We quickly were able to resolve that within 24 hours and it was going to be retroactive.The lady I spoke with informed me that she would not schedule until our insurance was resolved. I didn't get upset there, I offered to just pay for the visit out of pocket. This is where the lady turned rude and made it seem as though they didn't want to bother with me. I was told we would have to pay at time of scheduling either over the phone or I would have to go to the office and pay, not the day of the appointment, but the day I called to schedule.They now refuse to see my 11 year old that is having issues post op. What kind of person turns a child away after they operated.
