I'm a physician and asked to speak with the radiologist (Dr. Brett Stephens) reading my mammogram and ultrasound results. He didn't have time because he was leaving for a personal event. His report recommended more imaging and biopsy, which don't fit the medical algorithms for the benign finding. After consulting with medical colleagues, we suspect Dr. Stephens was covering himself by ordering unnecessary follow-up tests instead of making a clear diagnosis from the imaging.
