SEPT 5, 2023 I was strongly advised to go to ER by a nurse on phone from mt United Care Medical Insurance for erratic breathing and heart beat. I saw Dr Biagi very quickly upon my arrival. He ordered a series of tests, including COVID 19, a chest Xray & EKG. Ultimately, noting that my breathing had stabilized since my arrival, and having eliminated any possible serious issues, Dr Biagi very professionally, but kindly, explained all this and told me I likely had some slight other virus. Possibly like a cold, on top of my NON-SMOKERS COPD of 12 years. He prescribed 40 mg twice per day of Prednisone and said I could return home that same night within about an hour! HE WAS GREAT!!! I WAS TOTALLY RELIEVED WITH HIS MANNER OF SELF-CONFIDENCE, CARING & EXPERTISE!! LUCKY TO HAVE SEEN HIM THAT NIGHT! BEING 79 AND LIVING ALONE, ON MY OWN, I NEEDED EXACTLY WHO HE IS TO deal with what I was feeling afraid of because of my underlying COPD.
