Dr Huizar is overworked, and you see him for your first visit then you never see him again. My 89 year old mother saw him well over a year ago. Since then he is not reachable for an appointment, or video visit. His staff saw my mother and nearly killed her prescribing 5 blood pressure meds without consulting anyone. It took her cardiologist to sort out the mess that nearly killed her. My mother is now sick, couldn't reach him, his office told her NO ONE is available. Then made her wait for a video appointment all day yesterday, then at 5pm sent a message NO ONE is available...and just not follow up with her at all! this is the level of care we pay for with a PPO insurance? what has healthcare come to. The Doctors are overworked, understaffed and don't communicate. No provision for the holidays either. I am a healthcare advocate and this is disgusting to leave an elderly patient without any care or follow up.
