I saw Dr. Whitaker a few years ago. Absolutely refused to scope my stomach, I was having tons of nausea, dry heaving, weight loss and throwing up blood. She insisted that I was pregnant at every appointment she ordered bloodwork for pregnancy. I have infertility. She suggested, anxiety, depression and a gluten allergy..then told me good luck figuring out my allergies. Gave me pills, did unnecessary bloodwork and a full abdominal ultrasound which the tech even said to me, “you need a scope done.” finally I got a scope from another provider.. I have GERD and now an h pylori infection. I wouldn’t recommend her unless you want to waste time and money on a provider who just shrugs you off. Google “throwing up blood”, “says to seek medical attention immediately” I did and was let down. I’ve suffered for years trying to figure it out on my own when a simple scope and biopsy would have given answers.

I'm really sad to be writing this because I really had enjoyed seeing Dr. Whitaker. I've been having chronic back pain, and after one visit of her giving one solution (stop pt which I had 6+ weeks of, try OMT, get an X-Ray even though we knew it wasn't something an X-Ray would show), she just stopped seeing me. I got an appointment scheduled after the X-ray to discuss next steps and was told, "just wait X more weeks and see if the pain persists" when it's already been 4.5 months. They called me *3* times to cancel my appointment when I said I wanted it, I eventually gave up. I've heard stories of doctors dismissing peoples pain and was luckily enough to not experience that until now with Dr. Whitaker.
