Chidgey was the fourth UNC Pain Clinic Director I had and she was definitely horrible, so much so her own staff who worked there previously and knew me well complained about her mistreatment of the patients when we asked if she was doing the same things she did to me to other patients. 'It's Horrible!, you just don't know!'. I had gotten on fine with the first three Directors. I was shocked to find her in the job because her treatment of me had been so poor at Wake Spine and Pain I requested never to be treated by her again. In my opinion she has something mentally wrong with her. I seemed to be meeting with different personalities each time. I finally told her I could not depend on her because she often failed to prescribe my medications. Nothing quite like paying for expensive transportation every three months as required and sending to the pharmacy for my morphines and finding the prescriptions are not there at all. I filed complaints against her with UNC.
