I have been a patient of Dr. Lowell for well over 10 yrs & have patiently accepted that there is a 6 month wait for an appt.When I scheduled an appt for myself last April, I asked to make an appt for my husband at the same time. When we arrived today-after taking the day off from work- we were told that he would be seeing the PA. We were told she wasn’t accepting new pts & he would have to see the PA. I told them to let my husband have my appt, but she refused to see him so we both left. No one mentioned her not taking new pts last April. No one contacted us to tell us he would be seen by the PA. He has a dermatologist who pushes him to see the PA which is why he switched. I appreciate her thorough exam & have praised her to everyone for years but I can’t accept that there was no consideration to see a family member of a long time patient. We waited 6 months for the appt & was never informed of this new policy. Very unprofessional. Very disappointing.
