After my excellent cardiologist, Dr. Stanko, unexpectedly died, I went to Bruce Auerbach. His very first words were that Stanko was a very bad doctor. Not giving me a chance to discuss my health, Auerbach said that he would drop the prescriptions - which were working well for me - Stanko prescribed. Arbitrarily and dangerously, he prescribed a diabetic drug - because he said that I could develop diabetes, even though I had no risk factors or symptoms. He also recklessly prescribed a diuretic, although I had no water retention issues. He did not ask anything and refused to let me speak. So, I told him that Dr. Stank was excellent, and that his (Auerbach's) unilaterally changing my prescriptions was unacceptable. He walked out and said come back in a year if I developed problems with his prescription medications. I left and never went back. Auerbach would have killed me if I listened to him. My PCP was shocked. I found a good cardiologist elsewhere who is in sync with Stanko
