Dr. Patten is a rising rock star! She treats hundreds of cases of breast cancer a year, but I felt like I was her only patient. She provided a thorough and detailed analysis of my pathology and its implications for my treatment, patiently answering my questions. She provided very clear explanations, without dumbing them down, and encouraged me to be a partner in the process. She is incredibly thorough and detail oriented and very, very caring. After having initially dealt with an oncological surgeon in another system with whom I had a very different experience, I feel in a unique position to appreciate Dr. Patten's skill, expertise and bed-side manner.
