The front desk customer service at our visit was sorely lacking. The woman at the front desk during our visit was very gruff and inpatient while my elderly mother tried to pay for her visit. The woman was complaining that she was by herself yet she only had two people in line. She was snippy and rude. The doctor was no better. After making us sit and wait over 30 minutes for her to appear in the room, she became visibly frustrated and impatient and started rushing us as we tried to ask some follow-up questions. She abruptly stood up and cut us off and then shuffled us out because she was in a rush to go home. If the timing is inconvenient for her, then she should schedule appointments earlier and manage her time better so she’s not so flustered and behind schedule all the time. She’s perfectly ok making patients wait for her. Her lack of professionalism was inexcusable. This office needs to also work on their demeanor when dealing with older patients which is their main clientele.
