After 2 previous ENTs gave up on me (with one saying I would just go deaf in both ears), Dr. Schlocker was able to successfully get most of my hearing back after a relatively complicated and unusual case of sudden sensorineural hearing loss. She was also able to clearly explain everything and involve me in my care decisions. Besides the hearing loss, she was able to identify that the persistent pressure I’ve had in my ears for almost a year is due to teeth grinding, something that my dentist and both prior ENTs had missed. Prior to finding Dr. Schlocker, this case was frightening for me, with many sudden unexpected complications developing and no communication from my previous ENTs for weeks at a time. Dr. Schlocker made me feel confident that she’d be available I would be fine if something bad happened before my next appointment.
