Patient Reviews
Nov 10, 2025
I had her for two surgeries. She would not approve one day off of work despite her NP saying it was fine, before my 'emergency' scheduled surgery. Why? I have no idea. Truly heartless. I was in a ton of pain, couldn't sit, and needed a surgery immediately. She completely downplayed the recovery for surgery, saying I could be back to work in 1-3 days. A complete lie. I needed 6 months recovery. I had to take off at least 4-6 weeks from work (I needed much more than that but didn't have PTO), plus I was in the most excruciating pain of my life for 6 months after each surgery, and almost lost my job, because I was not prepared for this type of recovery or time off. For one of my surgeries, she wanted to go through my vagina to fix the issue. She again downplayed the recovery, and I frankly did not trust her at this point. I went and got a second opinion and surgery elsewhere. The 2nd surgeon said, if I had gone with Dr. Peterson's vaginal surgery, it would not have fixed the issue.
