A 5-hour stay in the ER for my sister after she suffered a severe seizure & was transported by ambulance to the ER. She was given no neurological exam other than a CT. She was told, despite a 50 plus year diagnosis of a seizure condition & a witness to the seizure that it was more likely she had a stroke. She eventually had to beg to be discharged to recover at home since she felt she was receiving no care at all.
