Dr. Coombs is extremely knowledgeable, very professional, and surprisingly kind. My wife and I have unfortunately had quite a few problems over the past fifty years, and we've therefore required many, many specialists, including great experts from Stanford, UCSF, Cedars Sinai, Northwestern, MD Anderson in Houston, and others. Dr. Coombs took over for two oncologists I needed, including one of the leaders in her field when she retired. We liked Dr. Coombs even better. She's one of the best we've been lucky enough to find, but unlike so many others these days, she's also patient and kind. It's too bad that so many doctors have become impatient and arrogant, but so wonderful to find a real expert who's also one of the exceptions right here at UC Irvine. Can't recommend her highly enough.
