Since I was diagnosed with numberless pancreatic cysts ten years ago, I have had biannual CT or MRI scans to monitor the risks of pancreatic cancer. Sometimes, I am notified of clear results; and sometimes, no news is good news.For the past two years Dr Paschall has been good to notify me of test results within a week. However, he called within three hours of the last scan. Not the nurse, nor an assistant, but Dr Paschall himself called to warn us that he was concerned about a possible aneurysm inside my pancreas. I felt no more discomfort than usual, but further tests confirmed the Doctors diagnosis. My splenic artery was a walking time bomb, and Dr Paschall’s diligence in reviewing a routine scan caught the problem and he immediately informed us of a life-threatening situation. His office has always been good to us in working with insurance, finding affordable medications, and making referrals to specialists who could embolize the artery.
