I went to Dr Maksoud for a routine colonoscopy and his reaction after the procedure was angry, animated and frightening. He told me that my colon was in terrible shape and that I could need a “poop bag” (his words not mine); that my colon could burst; that my hemorrhoids were the largest he had ever seen; that my colon was 50 times larger than normal; etc. The follow up appointments revealed that my colon condition was not good but certainly not critical. Each of the three physicians that I saw in subsequent visits said I was doing okay. The hemorrhoid surgeon said my hemorrhoids did not require surgery and they were not bad at all. I WILL NEVER SEE THIS DOCTOR AGAIN!!! He needlessly frightened me and my husband.
