Dr. Wuhl is easily the best psychiatrist I've ever had. Dr. Wuhl believed in me when very few people did. The first time he met me, he was filling in for my new doctor, who had prescribed me medications that caused a manic episode. He just let me talk for about half an hour, listening. He told me he could tell I was extremely talented and capable, and that I needed to get better so I could help other people with mental illness. When I asked him if he could see me instead of the doctor I had just been assigned, he said he would only work with me on the condition that I made progress. I previously had very negative experiences with psychiatrists, so this motivated me to be able to keep seeing such a competent, compassionate doctor. I have since largely recovered from my mental illness and am returning to school, which would have never happened if I never met Dr. Wuhl by chance. I cannot recommend Dr. Wuhl enough, especially for people who have had mental health issues since childhood.
