This is my first time ever leaving a review for a medical professional or medical practice. Like many other reviewers mention, Dr. Kastl was very quick to recommend prescription medication WITHOUT ever mentioning the possible side effects associated with the medication. Dr. Kastl later became extremely dismissive and condescending towards me when I told her I simply did not feel comfortable. She even logged out of her computer while I was in the middle of explaining my concerns. She told me point blank, that she could not do anything to help me other than to “increase my dosage.” Like many other online reviewers mention, the entire experience left me rattled… and frankly, alarmed. I still don’t fully understand why I was criticized and talked down to for wanting to take a more natural approach first. Instead, it felt like the doctors at Inova Neurology were handing out prescription drugs like candy. It makes you wonder, what's in it for them? Clearly NOT patient care.
