Dr. Herdman is not only respectful, considerate and knowledgeable, he also demonstrates a genuine interest in his specialty. It's clear that he still enjoys learning and sharing his knowledge with his patients. He takes time to listen to concerns and explain your condition and treat goals. His approach is directed at providing the most benefit to quality of life for his patients, especially in cases where a condition doesn't have a cure and harsher treatments would lead to other systemic issues. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful, and always prompt and easy to communicate with. After jumping through hoops with other GIs, it's been a huge relief getting transferred to Dr. Herdman and finally getting some real solutions for my UC, and TDDC has made it as stress-free as possible.
