I would’ve liked to know my insurance only partially covered the visit beforehand (I’d even given them a call to ask about it prior to my appointment). Instead, I was surprised with the bill as I was leaving. The hygienist, although very nice, sprayed my face and hair repeatedly because she “didn’t like using the tool” that she was supposed to to avoid this excessive spraying (she seemingly receives this complaint often). The dentist began the conversation by insisting I do not floss before asking me whether I do or not. It took a bit of emphatic convincing on my part to get her to listen to me, which I found odd and rude. I also felt like the treatments they wanted me to have (which wouldn’t be covered by insurance) were pushed on me via fear mongering about what would happen if I didn’t do them. The place felt scammy and unprofessional.
