I’m the patient’s wife. Dr Pungoti gives short answers and doesn’t like questions. The day of the procedure, he hadn’t input the orders at the hospital, nurses had to track him down so they could prep the patient. I waited 2.5 hours for a 30-60 min procedure and finally walked to the prep area to get status. They let me wait in the recovery room. Meanwhile he told my husband very little about the outcome and said he could read the writeup on mychart; he never communicated with me at all. The day after the procedure we are still waiting for the writeup and next steps.
