I had surgery last year, everything turned out fine, except the medical staff working around him failed to send appropriate documents to my insurance company. I felt I needed to be involved in things that they are responsible for. The staff there really dropped the ball, especially his medical assistant, who was out of the office all the time and did not return phone calls. The paperwork and billing piece was a nightmare so please know this going in.
