The Day I was seen by Dr. Updike he was actually substituting for another WC physician Dr. Updike never inquired about how I was coming along, my pain level or my physical status he then asked me to stand up, I stated that I was thinking of possible joint replacement, he said he was closing my WC case and putting me at MMI Immediately!! I wanted to possibly talk about some options and he stated that I was a walk in and he didn't have time to discuss anything further and walked out of the room, my 1st impression was that he was very rude and my case was of no importance. I wouldn't refer anyone to him for Family Practice.
