Dr. Hayes is, without exaggeration, the best doctor I have ever had. I was his patient for years, and his level of care, compassion, and genuine concern is incredibly rare. He never dismissed my symptoms, never rushed me, and always made my safety his top priority. While other providers guessed or threw medications at me, he believed in doing things the right way: careful diagnostics, thorough testing, and avoiding anything that could harm me. When others brushed me off with “IBS,” he told me the truth — that my case was complex, my symptoms were real, and we needed to keep searching for answers. He explained everything clearly and patiently. He was the only gastroenterologist who truly listened to me, believed me, and validated what I was going through. Even after I aged out of pediatric GI care, he still cared enough to offer guidance when I was confused by another provider’s decisions.He was very upset by the way my new provider acted with me. I'd be under his care today if I could.
