I had a relatively simple, closed fracture. Any reference from ME concerning pain or limited ability to move was dismissed with “that’s to be expected” but no exam. He did not touch me except to remove splint. He told me to go to Rite-Aid and buy an elbow brace. His visit notes, however, say that he gave me a full exam tested for nerve impingement issues and checked my pulse at the joint and that I left in an elbow brace. Two weeks of having a dead hand, ulnar impingement and a lot of pain, I went back for a follow up and when asked how it was feeling, I told him not great and that that I had a lot of nerve issues. He said,” uh huh” Well the xray looks fine.” Even after trying to get him to examine my elbow, he dismissed it as a bursa issue without so much as asking me what it felt like or touching me. He completely dismissed me.
