I have had back pain for about 3 years following an injury. The pain was in my lower back, mid back, and glutes. I had previously been seen at Kaiser, and after a few months of physical therapy, I did not get better. I saw several doctors who mostly told me there was nothing in the MRI so nothing was wrong. Then my insurance changed and I saw Dr. Wun. She is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. She really listened and had a "you are here for a reason and we are going to help you" attitude. She found that my pain was stemming from my SI joint. The SI joint connects to each area of my back that was hurting. Previous doctors had told me it wasn't possible to hurt in each area that I had pain. But she so easily found the problem. We are still working on getting me better. I will be forever thankful to her.
