Saw Dr. Lay in 2018 for a work comp. IME. He is a highly paid insurance Dr. who will manipulate his examination findings to fit the employer’s agenda to deny work comp benefits. He said I was fine to go back to work and I need to take maximum doses of pain relievers. This was before the opioid epidemic. These high doses would give me abdominal pain and the other affected my high liver count. These meds only masked the symptoms and not address the source of the pain. Glad I did not follow his prescription to over use opioids. Stay away from this Dr. if you have a choice.
