Dr. Colin Shaw, DMD

I was fortunate to have worked alongside Dr. Shaw at the VA for the last four years. As a general dentist needing to refer my patients to a root canal specialist, I had complete confidence they would be treated with compassion at the skilled hands of Dr. Shaw. Dr. Shaw provided honest diagnoses and talked my patients through the process of a root canal. He kept up on the latest technology to provide the best standard of care for patients using equipment such as cone beam radiograph (3D x-ray machine) to visualize the anatomy of each tooth and then using a cutting edge microscope to perform the root canal. Dr. Shaw’s professionalism and excellent reputation (at the VA for 9 years and in private practice for 20+ years prior) are reasons I knew my patients would receive the best care. My only regret is that if I ever need a root canal, I will need to travel to Arizona to have him do it.
