Dr. Chen is condescending and dismissive. He's willing to lie to you, laugh in your face, and ignore direct questions. Surgery made my symptoms worse and suggested to be my fault. I later discovered Dr Chen knew prior to surgery I had two compounding issues but he only informed me of and addressed one of them, amplifying the effects of the other. Both conditions could have been corrected in the same surgery. Further digging revealed more discrepancies between what was discussed during my visits and what was actually noted in the records (incorrect dates, vitals, topics covered that weren't, etc). Furthermore, I was led to believe I only had one option for my procedure which I really wanted to avoid but it was presented to me like I had no choice. While being prepped for surgery, his assistant began walking me through what they expected to happen, and it was for an option that was never presented to me but too late to elect for. I wish I had gone with another Dr.
