I did not see Dr. Sheinbein. Instead a covering oncologist visited with me. This is the second time in 2 or 3 months that this oncologist has filled in for Dr. Sheinbein for an appointment with me. Neither time was I told beforehand that Dr. Sheinbein would be out of the office. More problematic is that this substitute doctor came into the exam room without specifics on my case. On both visits he had to look up my case on the computer. I felt like he was there to fill the time space and answer general questions. As I left the office I felt used. Someone should have had the consideration to contact me with an offer to reschedule the appointment when Dr. Sheinbein would be available.
