I was very disappointed when I saw Dr. Brown for my first pulmonology appointment, and I agree with the other comments that patients made about him. Based on the other reviews posted, I am not alone in feeling that his manner was abrupt and condescending and he seemed to have no real concern for me as a patient. His comments were minimal, he offered no explanation about my condition, and I didn't trust his diagnosis. I have a follow-up appointment with him which I don't intend to keep, so I have contacted Physicians East and asked them to please schedule the follow-up with a different pulmonologist. I was told that management's usual position is that they don't want patients to switch doctors, but I will wait for their determination and I suggest that they read the patient reviews posted here. If they won't allow me to see another doctor, I plan to cancel the appointment and find another pulmonologist at a different location.
