I recently had the privilege of being under the care of Dr. Haytmanek (Orthopedic Surgeon - foot and ankle specialist) at The Vail Steadman Clinic, and I can't say enough about my exceptional experience with this excellent surgeon. From the moment I walked into the clinic to the day of my surgery and throughout the entire recovery process, Dr. Haytmanek and his team consistently exceeded my expectations. Dr. Haytmanek's expertise and professionalism are truly commendable. I went to him 13 months after having an Achilles rupture repair from another surgeon that left me with ongoing ankle pain and weakness even after PT, hard casting, laser therapy, dry needling, and rest. At every appointment, Dr. Haytmanek addressed all my questions and concerns with patience and empathy. He took the time to thoroughly assess my chronic ankle issues and then clearly explained his diagnoses and the procedure he recommended. His deep technical knowledge was evident and instilled in me a great deal of confidence that he would get me out of pain and back to my normal activity soon. Surgery with Dr. Haytmanek went very smoothly, and the post-op care I received was top-notch. Dr. Haytmanek and his team were incredibly responsive and always available to provide support, monitor my progress, and make necessary adjustments to my recovery plan. I am stunned that 13 weeks out from my Achilles revision surgery, my ankle is almost back to normal. Just yesterday, my PT told me I am "about 6 weeks beyond what's typical strength following an initial Achilles rupture repair" - and this is my second surgery! I have no doubt I will be completely back to normal after my final 3 months of recovery. Dr. Haytmanek is not only a highly skilled surgeon but also an incredibly compassionate and caring individual. His knowledge and genuine concern for my well-being made a significant difference in my overall experience. I felt I was in extremely capable hands throughout the entire process, and the results of my surgery have exceeded my expectations. I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Haytmanek for his competence and dedication to his patients. A HUGE thank you to him and the whole Vail Steadman Clinic Team!
