'Then he looked in my nose and throat and charged me a surgical fee!!! Yeah, I’m going to take my time paying that OVER CHARGE. ' I second you. They charged for the surgical procedure for my son's first visit, I was expecting a normal $40 specialist's copay. Now they are saying I have signed a paper where it was written about extra charges. I demand to know which procedure was executed. I was in the room, Doctor was checking my son. How do I know he is performing a surgical procedure (insurance marked it as surgical) until he explains? I would suggest, new patients ask them to explain any extra charges upfront and do not sign. Extremely disappointed.
