Degrace operated on my hand for trigger finger. It should have been a simple A1 pulley release. She cut my A1 pulley, A2 pulley, and the ulnar slip of the FDS tendon. I now have bowfinger. I cannot straighten my finger or contract my finger. Because she cut the A2 pulley (which is a no-no for trigger finger), my tendon is 3mm (.118 inches) away from the bone at the A2 and at the FDS. I can longer play guitar, struggle with my golf game and engaging the clutch on my Harley Davidson. I wish I never had the surgery. My hand is worse than before. I still have swelling, extreme stiffness and pain in my hand after over eight months. I've worked hard for months with the exercises they provided without success of regaining motion in my hand. Do not recommend DeGrace.
