Patient Reviews
Jan 31, 2023
Several years ago, my mother who was a heart patient needed gallbladder surgery. She was only cleared for laparoscopic by cardiology. I explained this to Dr Pacella the day of surgery and he indicated that we were telling how to do his job. Shortly into the surgery, he called our family in to tell us he ran into a problem. There was a large mass pushing her organs and gallbladder to the side and he could not even see the gallbladder. He wanted permission to open her which we could not give. He told us this was probably cancer but at least she led a good life. So he ended the surgery. The next day a GI doctor wanted to do a procedure and when we asked about the mass, he told us he saw no mass and didn’t know what we were talking about! I worked for another hospital and showed my mothers CT’s to our doctors and they didn’t know what the surgeon was looking at. Long story short I would never recommend Dr Pacella to anyone…caused our family a lot of grief!
