How likely are you to recommend Dr. Brown?
He told us that it was normal for our son who had a TEF/EA to have trouble breathing because “that is just what those kids do.” We transferred his care to MUSC who gave him inhalers which helped immediately and then they referred us to Boston where they found an almost 100% collapse of his trachea that will require major surgery to fix. My 17 month old son has to eat purées because he stops breathing with normal food due to the collapse but according to Dr. Brown, that is just normal and he will grow out of it. According to the world renowned specialists, he will never grow out of it due to being malformed. Dr. Brown clearly did not know and just made it up. My son almost died choking due to us just believing this is normal. Cannot state how much I would recommend going to MUSC with any pediatric specialty care.
