Patient Reviews

I originally wasn’t going to say anything, but then I got off the phone with the hospital yesterday, and now I feel I have to. I came into the er trying to get help. The nurses and rest of the staff were delightful and I really felt like they were hearing me and listening. Then Dr Griffin came in the next morning during my echo and started speaking to my parents. I think I can count on my fingers how many words he said to me. Note: I only gave permission for my mother to be spoken to and yet he spoke to my father. My mother asked him early on if he felt it could be pots and he said verbatim “it could be, but I don’t believe in pots.” I find myself concerned that a dr who is supposed to be well-regarded doesn’t even believe hundreds of medical papers that have been published even in the past few years. To make matters worse, I called to cancel my follow-up and said it was because he was rude and I didn’t like him the operator laughed and said that “that sounded right.” Go elsewhere.
