I have trouble finding people willing to take on someone with a schizoaffective label, EVEN though I'm only searching for help with anxiety. I was hoping he would be it, as he got back to me very quickly. But this man was the most invalidating man I've ever spoken to. I don't have enough characters to reiterate our conversation, but you can read my full review on Google. It includes all of our dialogue. He didn't seem to understand that intelligent people can also sometimes struggle with their mental health. He was condensing, sarcastic, and talked as if I were a child. He insinuated that because I'm not currently on medication (which was the whole point of coming to him), I'm delusional. I haven't been on medication for 4 years. I have a job, a brand new car that I bought myself, and am well educated (college wise). I work in mental health. His subtle insults were not attractive. Don't settle just because he has a MD.
