Saw PA Morgan for ankle pain/swelling. 5 Min visit Xray was Neg. sent me for PT. after 5 visits therapist wrote report to Veltri/Morgan recommending an MRI as I was not responding and still had significant swelling and pain still after more than 6 weeks from date of injury. Veltri office denied request stating "you need at least 8-12 visits over 30 days, or else we will have to fight with your insurance co". Too lazy to fight for your patient? So I completed 9 visits, had to return to PA Morgan. 3 min visit, writes RX for MRI. Complete MRI return to see Veltri a week later. He came in the office, looked at MRI Imaging and explained that there was nothing glaring except a bit of tendonitis and my ankle "feels loose". about 3-4 Min with Veltri. I don't believe he read the Radiologist report, because if he did, he would have known that the Radiologist found an 8mm Gaglion Cyst in the Sinus Tarsi area, and I would assume, he would have explained what that was to me. I did not have a copy of written report till I went in My Chart after these visits, or else I would have said something. He referred me to an ankle specialist but said odds of me getting in in 2-3 weeks will be slim. I ended up getting in sooner with another specialist I located and I am receiving good treatment. This is a very accurate account of how my three visits went that cost me $300 in co pays, an extra $500 in PT co pays, and who knows how much to Insurance. Read it and you decide if you want to see a doctor like this. Probably part my fault also for not choosing an ankle specialist from the get go. Only gave one star because I had to.
