Dr Schmutz is an extraordinary man and a phenomenal doctor. Out of four visits to the emergency room in a week and a half I was fortunate to be assigned to his care twice. Each time he listened with compassion, heard my desperation and solved a couple of rather tricky problems. And he followed up with a phone call just to be sure I was out of the woods! Since I am not one of his regular patients (not sure he works outside the ER) and just an ER case this was truly above and beyond. If you need help at Providence Holy Family emergency I hope the stars align and you are in his care!
