Doc Schow is our primary care physician. We have been seeing him, pretty much exclusively, for almost 15 years. We - my sister and I - have an excellent rapport with him, so despite our various awful medical conditions, it's still enjoyable - believe it or not - to visit with him.His approach to patients is often seen as uncaring or worse, but that's simply a problem with the patient not the doctor. He's snarky and sarcastic, which is why we get along so well, and he loves a good argument about health, politics, engineering - he has an engineering degree, and I doubt many people know that - and every other topic under the sun.He's analytical and very fact-based. That engineering mind of his works overtime, and I assume other patients can't handle that. Which is THEIR loss.
