I was more or less pleased with Dr. Pipkin and her nurse. The problem I had is with the staff and the CEO of the practice. A mistake was made regarding scheduling of an appointment (not the first mistake of this kind). I requested a yearly examine and what happened was an appt was scheduled as a follow-up to a surgery (this follow-up was not necessary and not requested)-the setter of the appt messed up. When I got there for my "yearly" Dr. Pipkin came in and we talked about my recovery and issues associated with my surgery and there was no need for an examination as a follow up to my surgery. When I questioned why a yearly was not being done, I was told that was not what the appt was set for. The billing for this appt was sent to insurance (which is not great insurance) and I was responsible over $100. I requested that they reduce this by half because they screwed up. The CEO refused and I was threatened with collections if I did not pay. I will not go back to this practice!
